This test is an aid in detecting antigen from the SARS-CoV-2 virus in individuals suspected of COVID-19. This product is strictly intended for professional use in laboratory and Point of Care environment.

Does this rapid test kits TGA Approved?
Yes, All Roche rapid test kits are approved by TGA and included in their website. TGA is government association of Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
Does this test replaces the actual COVID test procedures and how accurate they are?

What is the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Nasal Test (Self use) and their advantages?
The Self Nasal Test Kit is a lateral flow test which is used to detect the antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Nasal who are suspected of having COVID-19. Please note that this is strictly used for Home, office and other locations where medical certified personal is not available.
This helps to identify an individuals whether they are infected with SARS-CoV-2 or not. This kits enables the convenience of testing where you can use at your home, office or any workplace area without any specific medical training. However we strongly enforce and recommend to review the process of using this kit outlined by manufacturer.
What is the expiry date / shelf life of this rapid antigen kit?
18-24 months is the shelf life from the manufacturing date which you can be found from the back of the kit as well as inside the kit on the foil pouch.
How many test comes in a box?
Total 25 tests comes in box including sterile swab, dispense cap, test panel and tube with buffer and carrier.
How to perform the test and do I have to wear PPE before using Kit?
1. Place the test device on a flat surface. 2. Hold the tube upright above the circular well on the test device (not over the rectangular result window). 3. Drop exactly 4 drops onto the circular well. Gently squeeze the sides of the tube together if necessary. 4. Note: You can continue with the test even if you accidentally drop 5 drops onto the test device. 5. Set the timer and read the test result after 15 to 30 minutes. 6. Wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer after performing the test. Failure to squeeze the tube can lead to incorrect results due to excess buffer in the swab. Test results that are read before 15 minutes or after 30 minutes may be incorrect.
PPE is not required but recommended. However you must use medical approved hand gloves and PPE Cover while testing in larger groups.
What if the test comes Positive to COVID 19?
Any Positive test, person should seek emergency medical help from the government and do the self-isolation. Follow your local and/or federal rules from government.
How to dispose the Test kit after use?
Please dispose the kit to medical hazardous waste box only. DO NOT DISPOSE IN NORMAL COUNCIL BINS.
Can I use the test kit to children aged between 12 to 17?
As per TGA guidelines, the kits can only be used for Adults. Please see doctor's or your local GP permission and recommendation before using the kits to children aged 12 and above.
Do I have to keep the medical reagent in certain cold temperatures?
As per TGA recommendation, there is no requirements to keep the medicated reagent in cold temperature or refrigeration. However it strongly recommended to store the reagent in room temperatures between 15-30 C. In any circumstances, never exposed to direct sunlight after and/or before opening company seal pack. We are dispatching in white boxes covering the mailing envelope to protect the sunlight and any other weather related protections during transit.
